Nicholas Kiambi
Nicholas has joined the SPARC Family as a Program Support Manager. Immediately before this, he served as Senior Project Officer in the regional Partnership for Health Systems Strengthening in Africa (PHSSA) programme supported by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and Kenya’s Ministry of Health and domiciled within Amref’s Institute of Capacity Development. He coordinated implementation of the programme through the Africa Health Leadership and Management Network (AHLMN), a network of tertiary health training institutions from across 38 African countries.
Nicholas brings more than sixteen (16) years of experience in planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluating regional capacity-building programmes, especially in the area of Leadership, Management and Governance for Health Systems Strengthening. He has coordinated design and implementation of training programmes in Anglophone, Francophone and Lusophone regions of Africa and managed partnerships with institutions across 41 African countries. Nicholas holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Systems Management from Kenya Methodist University.
