The Effectiveness of Contracting-out Primary Health Care Services in Developing Countries: a Review of the Evidence

This paper encourages more research on the impact of contracting and to stimulate the discussion on its long-term impacts, and it presents a conceptual framework and a set of indicators for monitoring and evaluating contracting-out interventions at both the program and system levels.
