Health is the prerequisite for life, economic productivity, and every human experience. Health is local. Global agendas and global policies need to be domesticated and adapted to local conditions. Investing in health is investing in lives and economies. Africa needs to own its knowledge and its discoveries for the health and well-being of its citizens.
