This week-long training course was organized by Amref Health Africa Health Financing pillar at its headquarters, which houses SPARC. The course was designed to equip policymakers with practical knowledge, and skills needed to understand the interplay between Health Systems Strengthening, and Healthcare Financing. With a strong focus on Strategic Health Purchasing as an important intervention, the training aimed to enhance participant’s capability in improving the application of health financing functions and make progress towards UHC. The course was delivered in English, and trained more than 500 experts since 2018.
