Expanding the fiscal space for health in Africa

This study explores innovative financing as a source for raising additional revenue for health. It concludes that while innovative financing can provide a steady, sustainable and equitable way of generating small amounts of additional resources for health, it should not be looked upon as the solution to Africa’s health financing resource challenges.
