Oludare Bodunrin (‘Dare)

Oludare Bodunrin has over eight years of experience working on strategic initiatives to deliver quality health care to underserved populations in Nigeria. As a senior program officer for Results for Development (R4D) based in Abuja, Dare led the design and implementation of Social Health Insurance Schemes nationwide and a learning and experience sharing network and key program management functions for the Nigeria office.

Mr Bodunrin managed the creation of a community-based sales model that improved health insurance uptake by over 20 per cent and the roll-out of a health insurance product targeted at the informal sector population in Lagos, Nigeria. In addition, he managed customer development and marketing initiatives for strategic purchasing of drugs and medical consumables, reducing purchase costs by 30 per cent.

‘Dare has been a panelist at the East African Healthcare Federation Conference and the African Health Economics and Policy Association forums. Oludare is currently the Acting Director at SPARC.
